John Lion is a London-based singer-songwriter. Working his way through London’s underground scene for over five years, John crafts the kind of music he wants to hear on the radio: catchy and melody-driven. Whilst stuck at home during the lockdown, he recorded and released his first two singles, ‘I Don’t Believe In Magic’ and ‘The Sun Is Up’ in 2021.

John Lion knows how to take what sounds good from his main inspirations (mostly 60’s acts with a dash of Britpop) and adapt it to his music, making the finished sound truly his own.

His latest single, “Tea Lady”, captures a folksy vibe, showcasing John Lion’s natural talent for crafting tunes in this genre. John Lion is currently on his first Folk EP, which is expected to be released later this year.
